Jane is Head of the Payment & Digital Assets, Market Analysis & Policy Department, which is part of the Payments & Digital Assets Directorate at the FCA.  The Department covers both payments and crypto policy amongst other things.  Jane has previously specialised in insolvency as Head of the Resolution Department, before which Jane concentrated on Client Assets since joining the FSA in 2009 from a corporate law firm.

Katia Babbar is a Financial Markets executive with a career spanning 20+ years. She is the Co-Founder of Immersive Finance, a FinTech offering institutional grade risk management and alpha generation for Digital Assets. Previously, Katia has held various senior positions in the City, from Head of FX Quant Research to MD of an e-FX Algo Trading business having worked at UBS, Citi and Lloyds Banking Group.

Katia has been a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Oxford since 2018, where she teaches 'Statistics and Financial Data Analysis' for the MSc course.

She holds a BSc in Mathematics from University College London and a PhD in Stochastic Analysis applied to finance from Imperial College.

Mr. Jean-Marc Bonnefous is the founder and managing partner of Tellurian Capital, a London-based investment management firm focused on the digital assets and commodity sectors. Mr. Bonnefous has managed since 2007 a number of institutional funds and investment strategies. He is the investment manager for the Tellurian ExoAlpha Systematic Digital Asset fund, a long/short hedge fund strategy. Prior to launching Tellurian Capital, he was an investment banker at BNP Paribas from 1992 and 2006, based in New York and London, where he built and ran the Global Commodity Derivatives business. Mr Bonnefous is also an operating partner at Tioga Capital, a blockchain VC fund, a board member of, a digital assets marketplace, as well as an advisor in Finteum, a peer-to-peer FX liquidity marketplace.
